There's no need to worry about how June flooding will affect the Wisconsin duck hunt.
The state expects a good 2008-season.
A Department of Natural Resources Migratory Game Bird Ecologist says the waterfowl population turned out healthy and abundant.
There had been concern about how flooding would affect the birds.
This week, the DNR board brought back a full 60-day season for duck hunters.
Two different duck seasons will take place in Wisconsin depending on where you want to hunt. North of Highways 10 and 41, it's September 27th to November 25th. South of that boundary, it's October 4th through the 12th and from October 18th to December 7th.
