I used to work at a daycare and I realized that the pay is paid at a minimum, but that is no reason for any provider to forget a child. EVER. I know that daycares do background tests, how about tests for common sense.

I agree that day care's need to have better workers, but do you realize that day care workers usually are only paid minimum wage or slightly higher? I worked in one for four years and I loved it and I believe that I took great care of the kids when I had them, but ultimately, could not afford to continue working there. That is why there are so few GOOD workers at day care centers.

DayCare Center's really need to have better worker's that make sure that they have all the kid's with them when they take them anywhere all kid's deserve to be kept safe and I think that it is very sad for a toddler child to be left alone anywhere if that was my child I would NOT Be Very Happy At All

things like this is what makes daycares a bad idea. you hear of abuse, neglect, and now "forgetting" them at a park???? Reasons like this, are things that put up a red flag for daycares, the price is outrageous as it is!! Unless you know the daycare personal, i wouldnt choose daycare. there are ways around getting daycare.

How horrible!!Is it any wonder more parents are trying to care for their children themselves, juggling work schedules so that one parent can always be with their children. Thankfully, there are employers who are willing to adjust work hours so that parents can care for their children, although I know this cannot always be done at some forms of employment.
