Low water on the Wisconsin River is hampering cleanup efforts that became necessary when flooding caused Lake Delton's dam to breach on June 9th.
A group called Living Lands and Waters is spearheading the efforts to clean debris that washed away, including parts of homes.
Group leaders say the low water makes it harder for boats to navigate the river.
Crews have cleaned up about 10-percent of the river so far.
They removed more than 15 tons of debris since Monday, all by hand.
They say the debris is largely made up of things like boards, carpet and wires.
But they say it's weird when they pick up pieces of people's lives, like a checkbook or other personal items.
