The employer of one of the ten people killed in an eastern Guatemala plane crash says the Wisconsin man was a "bright light" in the company.
Roger Jensen, his wife, son and daughter were headed to a village near El Estor to help build homes for CHOICE Humanitarian when their plane crashed in a field yesterday.
Jensen and his son were killed along with eight others. Nineteen-year-old Sarah Jensen says she and her mother were injured.
Forty-eight-year-old Roger Jensen was the maintenance manager at Smyth Companies in St. Paul, Minnesota. CEO John Hickey says Jensen recovered copper pipe from a facility the company was closed to help pay for the trip to Guatemala.
Hickey says Jensen was a popular employee at Smyth and was always upbeat.
