If you shop online and filled out a survey recently, the Better Business Bureau is asking you to check your credit card statements carefully.
Thousands of people across the country are reporting unwanted charges on their credit cards after buying things online.
The BBB says it received nearly 2,000 complaints from people who say they were signed up for a membership rewards club, and billed, without their knowledge.
Researchers found a company called Trilegiant was luring customers by offering ten dollars back on online subscriptions if the customer filled out a survey.
But by filling out this survey, you're actually signing yourself up for a rewards program that you'll be paying for every month on your credit card.
Investigators say this isn't a scam, because the club is offering a real service.
But you need to read the fine print to know what you're getting into.
