Two missing teenagers from the area have been found safe in Los Angeles, California.

Cassandra Tate, 13, from Wilton and her 16-year-old boyfriend, Kevin Lozano of Norwalk vanished on August 20.

A friend of Lozano’s family called the Lozanos in Wisconsin to let them know both Cassandra and Kevin were ok.

Norwalk-Wilton Police Chief Steven Kaczik says Tate was taken into custody in Los Angeles.

Lozano stayed with the family friend.

Tate's father flew to California to retrieve his daughter. They were back in Wilton Tuesday.
