A bar and grill goes up in flames, damaging three nearby buildings.
The Juneau County Sheriff's Department says the 911 call came in at 5:00 Friday evening. The caller reported a fire at Harmony Bar and Grill at 110 West Street on the corner of Highways 12 and 16.
The Mauston Fire Department, along with fire crews from New Lisbon, Elroy and Lyndon Station contained the fire to the Bar and Grill. Three adjoining businesses did have water and smoke damage.
One Mauston firefighter and one Lyndon Station were treated because of the extreme heat and smoke, but Fire Chief Kim Hale says they are o.k. now.
Highways 82-58 and 12-16 were closed because of the fire, but have since re-opened.
If you saw the fire or have pictures or video of the fire, please call (715) 839-WEAU or send them to news@weau.com.
