Sunday Last Day To Get On Cell Phone No Call List

It's the final day to sign up for Wisconsin's new cell-phone no-call list if you want to be on it starting in October.

That's when the first version of the cell-phone list is due to launch.

Telemarketers are banned from calling the numbers of people who are on the list.

Glen Loyd of the state Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection says the deadline is tonight. Anyone who signs up after that won't go on the cell-phone no-call list until January.

More than 200,000 people had signed up for it heading into the holiday weekend. Loyd says there could be more than 300,000 signed up by tonight.
