Brother and Sister Heading to Trial

A brother and sister accused of providing drugs that led to the death of another woman, are headed to trial.

Tiffany Shubert, 26, of Eau Claire and her brother, Zachary Shubert, 24, of Neillsville are charged with first degree reckless homicide as a party to a crime.

Both were in Eau Claire County Court Tuesday and were bound over for trial.

Tiffany is accused of giving drugs to Lisa Gannigan. Gannigan was found dead in her Eau Claire home July 11th.

Investigators found a needle and syringe containing fentanyl and methadone. A criminal complaint says both Tiffany and Zach had been at Gannigan's home the night she died.

Officers say a friend told investigators Tiffany Shubert gave Gannigan pills and injected her with a controlled substance at least once.
