Tuesday's primary election is resulting in a low turnout, but it will set up the races for November’s general election.
Voters are narrowing the field for some assembly races, including the 93rd assembly district in the Eau Claire area and the 91st district. Ten candidates are vying for that seat held for 26 years by Barb Gronemus of Whitehall.
There is also a school referendum in Neillsville on the ballot.
Polls are open around the state until 8pm.
