Well they did say on the morning show something about next week both directions would be open. But, I agree this story seems to be contradictory.

And how long after it's reopened until they have to repair the road again? From what I've been hearing (from those on the job) the materials that are being used aren't expected to last much more than a few years.

Mike, to clarify-two lanes in each direction will open next week. We need to complete the bike trail, median restoration and improvements to the Clairemont Ave./Menomonie Street intersection. That will take until November, that is when the entire project will be complete. That information was not included in the story.

So, at the beginning of this it says "In just days both the east and westbound lanes on Clairemont will be open", then at the end it says "project is set to be completed on November 7th....just 58 days away". Does this mean that lanes will be open in each direction before it is complete, or that 58 days is what is "just days"?
