A campfire leads to a powerline problem and four more fires.
Township firefighters were called to North Shore Drive and Bullhead Pond Road Wednesday night northeast of Altoona.

Crews say someone built a campfire near an ATV trail there, but built it under powerlines. Firefighters say the smoke caused the line to short out and break, and when the line fell it started four fires in the grass.

Township fire crews say since it is on County Park and DNR land, the Augusta ranger will investigate who started the campfire. Xcel Energy says no one's power was affected.
