Insurance Commissioner Sean Dilweg says a $750,000 settlement with Humana Insurance Company will protect seniors from problems related to the company's aggressive marketing of its Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D products.
He says it also resolves long-standing complaints about the company's handling of claims, customer service and underwriting practices.
The company denies any wrongdoing in the settlement, but state regulators say it has agreed to correct the identified problems.
