A scale made by a local company was featured NBC’s "The Office" Thursday night.
Rice Lake Weighing Systems made the scale that all the actors were standing on in the episode.
Mark Johnson says they got the call requesting the scale back in July.
Johnson says the company had to specially make the scale to accommodate the TV show's needs.
He says they wanted to be able to weigh the entire cast and have a display to show the weight.
Johnson says Rice Lake Weighing Systems is excited to have their work shown on TV... and hopes to get some new business from it.
