Fire crews responding to a house on fire find a heavily damaged basement.
Mark Briski with Township Fire says they were called to the 6000-block of Cameron Street outside Eau Claire.
A person apparently got home and found smoke in the house.
That's when they called 9-1-1.
Briski says it appears a space heater in the basement was too close to flammable materials and caused the fire, resulting in about $50,000 in damage.
