The home of the Green Bay Packers is becoming home to a new film office and the site for filming a science-fiction production called "Nephilim."
Lieutenant Governor Barbara Lawton joined local leaders Tuesday in announcing the opening of Film Green Bay and the plans for filming the movie “Nephilim”, which has a budget of $5 million dollars.
It's the latest development since state tax incentives for the film and video game industry took effect early this year in an effort to attract more projects, along with their spending and jobs.
“Public Enemies,” starring Johnny Depp, was filmed in parts of Wisconsin earlier this year. The budget for that film was estimated at more than $20 million dollars.
