A local school went into lock down as a precaution as officers arrested a man on a warrant.
Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald says the man was meeting with the New Auburn School District Superintendent and Principal about a child custody issue. Officers had already known about the meeting and arrested the man as he left the school building in New Auburn Thursday morning. The man was jailed but he won't face any local charges.
