Boy Hurt After He Was Hit by a Truck
The Polk County Sheriff's Department says the 6-year-old jumped out into traffic while trying to cross State Highway 46.

A six-year-old boy is seriously hurt after a pick-up truck hit him Friday afternoon.
It happened around four in the Village of Balsam Lake, North of St. Croix Falls. The Polk County Sheriff's Department says the boy jumped out into traffic while trying to cross State Highway 46.
He was flown to Regions Hospital in St. Paul. His name has not been released.
