Eau Claire police say there were more arrests at the UW Eau Claire homecoming celebration this weekend compared to last year.
This year Eau Claire police arrested 25 people, and wrote 185 citations. Sergeant Mike Graf says most of the citations were related to underage drinking and the majority of the arrests were for obstructing an officer or disorderly conduct. Twenty of the 185 citations were for public urination.
The overall numbers are up from 2007, when there were 18 arrests and 148 citations.
