An Eau Claire man died in a car crash because the other driver doesn't stop at a stop sign.
The Barron County Sheriff's Department says at 12:30 a.m. Sunday 24-year-old James Dewitt was driving east on Highway 8 when the crash happened.
Deputies say 30-year-old Fredrick Johnson from Minnesota was heading south on Highway "O" when he didn't stop at stop sign at the intersection.
They say both men were the only people in each car. Dewitt was pronounced dead at the scene. Johnson was treated for his injuries and released.
