Kids from a local elementary school got to play their way around the world on Monday.
Meadowview Elementary in Eau Claire was one of 50 schools picked nationally for Passport to Play, a school program put on my McDonalds that motivates students to be more active in different ways.
Students traveled to four different countries, where they learned fun facts and geographical information.
They then played a game corresponding to that country, to teach them to become more active.
Students say they had fun and learned a lot.
Adam Webb says, "They eat a lot of healthy foods in different countries."
Brianna Thalacker says, "Chicken in Australia is named choke, and lemonade is lemon squeeze, and vegetables in China are apaya."
The program also encourages kids to have healthy eating habits as they grow up and to eat in moderation.
