Driver Identified Who Hit Boy
Deputies say 7-year-old Cody Ward of rural St. Croix Falls jumped out into traffic while trying to cross state Highway 46.

Officers have identified the driver and the victim in the incident where a pickup truck hit a 7-year-old boy.
It happened in Balsam Lake on Friday afternoon.
Deputies say 7-year-old Cody Ward of rural St. Croix Falls jumped out into traffic while trying to cross state Highway 46.
That's when the truck Cody Turnquist, 18, of rural Centuria was driving hit him.
Ward is still in serious condition at the hospital
