A local girl who has a brain tumor is headed to the Walt Disney World Resort Wednesday morning after an exciting send off.
10-year-old Annalise Kleinschmidt and her family left their Eau Claire home for the resort at 3:45a.m.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation sent volunteers to her house, to send her off, dressed as her favorite Star Wars characters.
The family went by limo complete with a police escort to the Twin Cities airport.
Annalise says she's feeling good and can't wait to see Goofy.
She says she's excited she can share this experience with her family.
Annalise Kleinschmidt says, "I wanted something the entire family would enjoy."
Annalise says she's never rode in a limo or airplane before, and adds it'll be her first time at Disney.
