La Houd Charged In Price County

The Price County District Attorney filed charges of first-degree intentional homicide and attempted first degree intentional homicide against 41-year-old James J. La Houd.
Deputies say he shot and killed 58-year-old Charlotte Engle and also shot her daughter, 38-year-old Sarah Engle. Sarah is recovering in the hospital. Investigators say she La Houd’s ex-girlfriend.
The shooting happened September 10th in the town of Prentice, southeast of Phillips in Price County.
La Houd was arrested after a standoff with police.
