The Wisconsin band will play on -- but members better watch their step.
The University of Wisconsin-Madison says its marching band will play during this weekend's football game against No. 6 Penn State, but school officials are vowing to end a culture of hazing and alcohol abuse.
The band was suspended for last weekend's game against Ohio State while the university investigated hazing allegations.
Dean of Students Lori Berquam says her investigation has concluded there was a pattern of inappropriate behavior involving underage and excessive drinking, sexualized behavior and hazing. She says much of the activity involved upperclassmen who bullied freshmen.
