The election is just a few weeks away, and one company in Eau Claire is busy making phone calls to help out the presidential campaigns.
Strategic Fundraising in Eau Claire does political and non-profit fundraising for different groups across the united states.
Site manager Jason Schmitz says despite the economic downturn, people are still donating to support what they believe in.
He says the business has been very busy right now, which makes it a lot of fun.
Schmitz also says it's an exciting time for the company with the upcoming presidential election.
"In the political side of our fundraising, this is definitely the busiest time of the entire election cycle with the presidency up, so it's very high energy and very busy right now,” says Schmitz.
Schmitz says Strategic Fundraising employs about 200 people and they're looking to hire more right now.
