A Rhinelander man accused in the 2007 stabbing death of a woman at her Tomahawk home has reached a plea bargain.
Langlade County District Attorney Ralph Uttke says that terms of the plea deal with 25-year-old Seth Louis will be announced at a court hearing October 16.
Louis is charged with first-degree intentional homicide in the April 6th, 2007, slaying of 42-year-old Tracy Maurer. Prosecutors say Louis worked with Maurer at a fast-food restaurant in Rhinelander and stabbed her because of a dispute over payment for a computer he sold her.
Louis says another person killed her.
Uttke announced the plea bargain Friday as two teenage woman from Rhinelander were charged with being party to felony murder and armed robbery in Maurer's death.
