Hundreds of free events to help Wisconsin consumers better manage their money will be held next week.
The classes and seminars are being offered as part of the third annual Money Smart Week to help consumers learn more about saving, investing and using credit wisely.
The week is sponsored by the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions and other financial groups.
Governor Jim Doyle says the state's whole economy benefits from having residents who are smart about their money.
About 600 financial institutions, not-for-profit organizations and other groups will offer about 800 classes and other events. Almost all are free.
