Popular Halloween Costumes
Movie and TV characters seem to be the most popular Halloween costumes in Wisconsin.

Expect to see plenty of Batmans, Transformers and Hannah Montanas when you're handing out candy this Halloween.
A price-comparison Web site says those have been the most popular costumes with Wisconsin kids so far.
According to sortprice.com, the Dark Knight is also big with adults. Batman and Joker masks are among the most popular adult costumes, followed by masks of Sen. Barack Obama.
Wisconsin residents also favor racy costumes like Playboy bunnies and sexy Greek goddesses.
The top three in the Web site's funny costume category are a pimp, President Bush and a nun.
The rankings are based on Internet searches from Wisconsin-based computers, not actual sales. That's because sortprice.com lists merchandise for other companies but doesn't make sales itself.
