32 cited after underage drinking party in Beloit

BELOIT, Wis. (AP) -- Beloit police who broke up an underage drinking party with dozens of guests say they handed out 32 municipal citations.

Police responded to the area Saturday about 2 a.m. after receiving reports of juveniles darting into traffic. They found more than 50 people at the drinking party, including 30 people under the age of 21.

Of the 32 people cited, the adults were released on their own recognizance and the minors were released to responsible parties.
