The town of Owen is getting its ducky derby back.

The State Division of Gaming originally said the rubber duck races were an example of illegal gambling and banned the events.

That didn't sit well with organizations like The House of Friends in Owen. Its president says the annual fundraiser raised $1500 a year for her after-school program for underprivileged kids. She says she's happy the state finally decided to back off the ducky derbies.
