2nd Annual Lion's Pride Race
The July heat is setting in, but that didn't stop people from lacing up their running shoes.
The second annual Fall Creek Lion's Pride 5k and 10k run/walk took place on July 9.

The race was started to help benefit Fall Creek first responders and will most likely continue to in the future.
About 75 people of all ages participated in the event. The race started and ended at Keller Park.
"We have kids as little as probably seven in this. We encourage families to come out and after wards we'll just do prizes and Panera donated food. Festival Foods also donated food,” said Sheila Cote, director of the race.
Close to $1,000 was raised last year and race organizers hope to surpass that this year.
Trophies are given to overall winners and awards are presented in each division
