Mark Green Speaks at Campaign Headquarters
Green has support from President Bush and Rudy Giuliani
|
|
Republican gubernatorial candidate Mark Green thanked his supporters in Chippewa Falls Sunday morning and told them about his campaign.
>
After speaking at the county's campaign headquarters, he was off to the Northern Wisconsin State Fair to meet and greet others in town.
>
"In this campaign, this is the best way to meet people,” Green said. “In politics, I think folks get too caught up in slick advertising and what we want to try to do is meet with people one on one and this is a great way to do that."
>
Recently President Bush was in Milwaukee to campaign for Green. Green says he has other big party names planning to come to the state stumping on his behalf, including former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani. Green says he plans to announce a veterans plan for Wisconsin.
