The economic crisis has claimed another chain store in Eau Claire.

Office Depot representatives in Florida say the store on Commonwealth Avenue will close December 10th.

Melissa Perlman says because of the current challenging economic environment, Office Depot is reviewing all underperforming stores.

She says the 20 employees at the store will be given a severance package or the opportunity to work at another Office Depot location.

Perlman says the store opened in 1998.
