Charges are expected after Tomah Police arrest three people in connection to two stolen cars over the weekend.
Police received two stolen vehicle reports between 6:45 and 7:15 Saturday night. About three hours later, a Monroe County Sheriff's Deputy spotted the second car on Highway 12. Tomah Police joined the deputy and tried to pull over the vehicle. When the driver didn't pull over, police used a deflation system to stop the vehicle.
Police arrested a 16-year-old passenger at the scene. The driver and another passenger fled. Service dogs found the driver, 18-year-old Ryan Williams of Tomah, hiding in a backyard.
Williams was treated at Tomah Memorial Hospital before being booked in jail.
The second passenger, 17-year-old Aaron Ames of rural Tomah, turned himself in at the Monroe County Jail Sunday afternoon.
