Ruling in Prayer Death Case Could Come Soon
A judge is expected to decide this week whether to dismiss reckless homicide charges against parents accused of praying instead of seeking a doctor's care as their 11-year-old daughter died of untreated diabetes.

I agree with Lori wholeheartedly. The way we choose to raise our children is no one's business except for our own and it is especially NOT the government's business. Something like this should be left up to the free market; expecting the government bureaucrats to have been capable of achieving a result which was any better is highly unlikely.

We live in a country where people's religious beliefs are supposedly protected by the government. If we say people have the freedom of religion and their religion does not believe in western medicine,can we fault them for that?
