A St. Croix County judge has recused himself from a case not yet filed in court.

District Attorney Eric Johnson said recently that John Rassbach, owner of Rassbach Oil, would be charged soon with a felony and three misdemeanors for allegedly shortchanging farmers of fuel oil they bought in August and September.

Judge Howard Cameron recused himself in the case, but a spokeswoman in the district attorney's office says he gave no specific reasons.
