State Disciplines Area Real Estate Employees For Violations
Realtors and appraisers disciplined for practicing without licenses, not following industry codes

The Wisconsin Dept. of Regulation and Licensing says the following decisions and orders were issued in August 2008. The list was released on December 2.
Richard D. Barbour – Real Estate Board, La Crosse. The Real Estate Board reprimanded Richard D. Barbour, and ordered him to pay costs of $2,250. Barbour practiced as a real estate broker while his license was expired.

Andrew R. Hayhoe – Real Estate Salesperson, Chippewa Falls. The Real Estate Board revoked the license to practice as a real estate salesperson of Andrew R. Hayhoe. Hayhoe’s conviction of a misdemeanor in 2007 violated the limited license granted to him in 2005. Dated: August 21, 2008.
Jeffrey M. McMahon – Real Estate Appraiser, Eleva. The Real Estate Appraisers Board reprimanded Jeffrey M. McMahon, suspended for thirty (30) days his certificate of licensure as a licensed appraiser, and ordered him to pay costs of $500. McMahon must complete remedial education in residential market analysis and highest and best use and residential sales comparison and income approaches. McMahon performed appraisals and rendered appraisal reports that did not conform to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice. Dated: August 13, 2008.
Jillian J. Olson – Real Estate Salesperson, Holmen. The Real Estate Board reprimanded Jillian J. Olson, and ordered her to pay costs of $500. Olson, while practicing as a real estate salesperson, failed to properly identify property to be sold and to take reasonable steps to ensure that only the real property which the sellers intended to sell was sold. Dated: August 21, 2008.
Pamela Singerhouse – Real Estate Appraiser, New Richmond. The Real Estate Appraisers Board reprimanded Pamela Singerhouse, suspended her certificate of licensure and a certificate of certification to practice as a licensed appraiser for sixty (60) days, and ordered her to pay costs of $300. Singerhouse must also complete remedial education in residential sales comparison and income approaches or residential site valuation and cost approach or residential case study. Singerhouse performed appraisals and rendered appraisal reports that did not conform to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice. Dated: August 13, 2008.
