TO the family of this man. I have 1st hand experience with family suicide. This is an extreme situation, but just keep the good memories of him alive in your household. His children will deal with this better if they feel he was loved.

seriously, this needs to end here and now, the family does and will read these comments, jason was an awesome guy, and this wasnt just some random girl, you don't know the whole story, so before you open your mouths and bash on him about this, you need to think, do i know the whole story? do i know what this guy is really like? NO you don't not even close! put yourself in the familys shoes. would you like someone bashing on your son,dad.uncle.brother? no, i don't think you would! especially when half the people who leave comments, dont know anything at all about jason, or his story, or what was going on. So i really think you need to have consideration for the family and friends of jason, and just stop with your harsh comments, if you have something to say. keep it to yourself. he was a good man despite what he's done and what you've heard. he really is. you just don't know him like i and his family do. so why dont you guys move on with your life, let him rest in peace. LOVE YOU JASON!

Honestly. *Probably* None of you knew Jason. He really was a good man. I personally think that people being able to leave comments on these stories is stupid. If you have comments about him, leave them to yourself. Some family/friends of Jason are really peeved right now about what some of you people are saying. Think of who may be reading these comments before you sit here and bash on him. I do know that his family read these. And if you say he was selfish/disturbed/ect. but are saying you feel for the family. How much do you really feel for them when you're sitting here saying things like that about him. Leave this to rest already.

He was a good man? Look at his prior convictions.. a "good" man doesn't rape, hold weapons to peoples head, etc. etc.. I doubt he was a "good" man.. he may have SEEMED that way, but he was a disturbed ill man..

well no one will know the whole story so thats impossible and yeah this is receiving a little bit to much coverage i personally know a few people from this family and they are good people so dont judge a book by its cover they need to let this rest now and let the family grieve and move on

He sounded strangely calm on the 911 call. Regardless, his poor family and the victim are left to pick up the pieces of his selfish act. May they find the strength they need in God to get through this.

I hope Wisconsin will use this case as reason to tighten up on their so-called supervision of the predators they release back into society to victimize us all again.

Enough is enough I just can't believe the coverage this story is receiving? And is it the whole story. No I don't believe it is. I do not excuse his actions for sexual force. But I do believe the whole story should be told not only bits and pieces. Let it rest already

I feel bad for the family

This whole situation is a tragic event. But I can't believe a local TV station can be so desperate for news to actually play the 911 call! Why don't they play all 911 calls? Or was this more sensational than most? Nothing like hearing someones last words. I personally turned the channel!

2 questions: 1) What do the toxicology reports say? Was he abusing substances? 2) How did he get a gun? He was a felon, so how did he get posession of a gun? Was someone responsible for providing him with a gun? Could they be prosecuted with a charge of some sort? I guess that's more than 2 questions...

Ok.. so Jason had some issues... be obviously needed some help that no one was able to give him... I am NOT agreeing with him ~ my thoughts and prayers go out to the victims in this... his family and the young lady he has done this to...

I agree with abc, however, he did do "our system" a favor the second time around- he shot himself. this should be recommended to other sexual preditors, you know, tax purposes. of course, maybe that's insensitive. ?
