Officers ticketed the woman they say was drunk when a minivan hit her.

Eau Claire police say 47-year-old Heidi Haley was ticketed for sudden pedestrian movement into traffic.

Officers say Haley was on Fairfax Street near Spooner Avenue in Eau Claire just after 6 p.m.

They say she wasn't in a crosswalk when the van hit her.

Haley went to the hospital with a broken arm and cuts to her face.

Police say the minivan's windshield was shattered.
