Highway 35 in Buffalo County was shut down for a time while deputies tried to stop a driver and passenger they thought could be dangerous.
The Buffalo County Sheriff says it happened at 4:30 Thursday afternoon. Investigators say 26-year-old Jordan Blevins and 30-year-old Aaron Devorak stole a vehicle in Fountain City. They believed Blevins and Devorak to be dangerous and under the influence of alcohol and other substances. Deputies stopped the vehicle just before eight last night. Both men were arrested and booked into the Buffalo County jail.
