Charges were dismissed last week against a man suspected in an overdose death case.
25-year-old Zachary Shubert of Neillsville pleaded not guilty to reckless homicide charges back in October in the death of 30-year-old Lisa Gannigan. Prosecutors say Gannigan was found dead at her home with a needle and syringe containing fentanyl and methadone under her body.
Last month police say Zachary Shubert's sister, Tiffany, another suspect in the case was found dead in Neillsville. Her charges were dismissed after her death.
There's no word from the District Attorney on why he dismissed charges against Zachary.
