A man apparently stole more than a Western Wisconsin woman's heart. Investigators say he took off with her ring, her credit card, went to Hawaii and married someone else.
Pierce County deputies have a warrant out for the arrest of 40-year-old Raymond Edward Jackson for theft and credit card fraud. Court documents show he and Katharine Cullen from Hager City were going to get married on New Year's Eve, but that he told her he needed to fly to North Dakota for a job interview.
When he left, she told deputies he stole more than $5,000 worth of stuff from her, including a diamond ring, her credit card and her cell phone. Investigators traced him to Hawaii, where they say he's using her credit card and married a woman there.
Detectives say Jackson has a history of swindling people. A former girlfriend told police he stole from her too. She says she met him on a Russian dating website.
