UW-Stout Administrator Heading to Singapore

A UW-Stout administrator is heading to Singapore for a week to evaluate higher education programs there.
It's the first trip in a five year, $75,000 deal between the university and Singapore’s Ministry of Education.
Julie Furst-Bowe is scheduled to leave for Singapore on January 16th.
She'll be the only American on a panel that will look at the country's institute of technical education.
It will examine leadership, management and strategic planning.
Furst-Bowe says the ministry picked stout because of it's expertise in ongoing quality improvement processes.
