(AP) -- An accident at a steel foundry in Kenosha proved deadly for a worker.
Kenosha authorities say the accident happened Tuesday as 46-year-old Joseph Golec of Kenosha was using an overhead crane to lift a 3,700-pound metal casting at Kenosha Steel Castings.
The casting apparently collided with an adjacent one, hitting Golec and pinning him between the two castings. He was taken to Kenosha Hospital and Medical Center where he later died.
The fire department said there is no evidence of foul play. Officials with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration responded to the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
