Four people are injured after a vehicle slid head-on into a horse-drawn buggy.
Monroe County Sheriff's Deputies say 47-year-old Jacqueline Menn of Norwalk was driving south on County Highway U near Cashton shortly before 7 p.m. Tuesday night. She started to slide, and hit a buggy driven by 18-year-old Levi Miller of Cashton.
The horse was thrown onto the hood of the vehicle; both Menn and her 15-year-old daughter were hurt. They were both taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Miller and his passenger, 20-year-old Jacob Miller, were also injured but they refused medical treatment.
The horse was euthanized at the scene.
