Crews Respond to Crashes in Barron County
The Barron County Sheriff's Department says it responded to 29 crashes from 6 p.m. Sunday night through Monday morning.

A woman was taken to the hospital after her car crashed with a semi.
It happened on U.S. Highway 8, east of Almena in Barron County just after 11 a.m. Monday.
Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald says a woman in the car was hurt.
Crews had to free her from the car and fly her to the hospital.
There's no word on her condition.
The driver of the semi was not hurt.
The Barron County Sheriff's Department says it responded to 29 crashes from 6 p.m. Sunday night through Monday morning.
Deputies want to remind drivers to slow down when coming towards a crash where law enforcement and rescuers are working.
