Six people are hurt in a one-vehicle crash and the driver left the scene immediately following the crash.
The Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department says just before 3:00 Sunday morning a vehicle was headed east bound on highway 121 near Jennifer Lane, that's close to the town of Independence.
Deputies say the vehicle crossed the center line, went into the ditch and rolled at least two times. An ambulance took four people to a local hospital and two people were treated at the scene.
Deputies say the driver, 31-year-old Joshua Werlein of Arcadia, left the scene right after the crash. They say alcohol and speed were involved. Deputies met up with Werlein later and gave him multiple citations. The Trempealeau Co. Sheriff's Department says its reports will go to the district attorney for possible criminal charges.
