Million Dollar Drug Ring Busted; 6 People Arrested

A joint drug task force makes a million dollar drug bust in Jackson County.

The sheriff's department says officers arrested six people on Saturday morning. Seven area departments helped with the warrants in the Town of Brockway and the City of Black River Falls.

The sheriff's department says the people they arrested are suspected of trafficking more than $1 million dollars of cocaine, pot, crack cocaine and prescription drugs. Investigators say the bust is because of two years worth of work by the drug information partnership.

The Jackson County D.A. charged Jesse J. Blang, Matthew A. Conradson, Mary Jean Bearfield, Jason Roy Gottschalk, Edward Louis Kelley, Jr. and Jeremy James Campbell in connection with the bust.
