Three Arrested For Smoking Pot in Police Parking Lot

Three men were arrested for smoking marijuana in a police department parking lot.

Thursday, prosecutors filed drug charges against 17-year-old Devine Spencer, 22-year-old Christopher G. Taylor, and 32-year old Brandon Gaston. They're all from Eau Claire.

Eau Claire Police say on Wednesday at about 10 p.m., officers went to the lot.

They had to put equipment in a personal vehicle at the end of their shift.

That's when they smelled weed coming from a van next to the officer's vehicle.

The officers arrested the three men, and seized more than 18 grams of pot.

All three men are scheduled to be in court on March 23.
